Assistant Professor in Fluid Mechanics

Assistant Professor position at Centrale Lille for September 2020

The research profile is linked to the “Turbulence” group of the LMFL (Lille Fluid Mechanics Laboratory). This research activity include physical analyses and modeling of turbulent flows and it is based on detail investigations of experimental and numerical data. Both numerical, experimental and theoretical skills will be appreciated, in particular skills in flow stability analysis. The preferred applications are turbulent wall bounded flows, free shear flows and internal/external flows. A first experience with geophysical / atmospherical flows will be appreciated as well. The candidate must have the ability to develop international collaborations and to propose new research projects.
