Rotating Machines

The rotating machines gather the test benches in turbomachinery of ENSAM Lille and the test benches rotor or helix of ONERA Lille

The merging of the test means in turbomachinery located in ENSAM and the test benches rotor or helix of ONERA Lille constitutes a very original set of test means on rotating flows incompressible or faintly compressible, in intern and extern aerodynamics. Some of the means are unique in France and Europe. It should be noted that the available means goes from the Laboratory allowing to focus on the physic phenomenon analysis to the test benches at an industrial scale.

Among them :

– A test bench dedicated to the spatial indicator with a regim of cavitation (unique in Europe)
– A test bench allowing fast start of  pomps having a single equivalent in the world
– A test bench of axial compressor, given by the Paris VI University. This bench particarly fits with the study of operations with compressors in instable regimes.
– A test bench dedicated to to the interaction rotor/rotir, composed of a helicopter model with a 1,5m diameter fully articulated rotor and a set motor+helix which position is Un banc d’essais dédié à l’interaction rotor/rotor, composé d’une maquette d’hélicoptère avec rotor entièrement articulé de 1,5 m de diamètre et d’un ensemble moteur+hélice which position can be changed by 3 axis.
